The Americus Commercial L/T is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model also has some trailer sizes available, which should not be mounted on trucks. The tire enhances the all weather traction. The all season compound and the symmetric tread design improve the dry, wet and winter weather grip. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility in versatile, summer and winter weather temperatures, thanks to the stronger rubber materials. The ribbed tread block placement, and the detailed siping pattern, enhance the grip on the road surface with the use of additional biting edges. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, boosting the wet weather performing safety.
