OVERVIEW
The Bridgestone Ecopia H/L 422 Plus is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger and crossover vehicles. This model has some high performance sizes as well. Bridgestone offers a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.
Bridgestone’s Ecopia tires are known for their fuel-efficient manufacture. They are made using the NanoPro Technology, which is a special tread compound that uses less energy to maintain the same performance of the tire. The compound reduces the rolling resistance of the tire, which in turn lessens the fuel consumption and the CO2 emissions of the vehicle. The tire is both economical and environmentally friendly.
The all season tread pattern, with the added siping details, offers remarkable all weather traction in wet, dry and even winter weather. The tire’s light snow grip is also enhanced with the additional biting edges the extra sipes provide. The tire is resistant to hydroplaning as the circumferential tread grooves help disperse water from below the footprint.
The tire’s performing capability is also first-rate. Its flat footprint and maximized road contact area ensure that its steering responsiveness is quick and precise. The tire responds swiftly to the commands of the driver and performs as desired. With the good steering responsiveness, the tire also provides good road feedback, making it safer to use.
The reinforced structure of the tire also extends its life. The tire resists punctures and other damages, such as chipping, tearing and cracking, as its structure is reinforced. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
