OVERVIEW

The Toyo Proxes 4 Plus is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Toyo offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty W and V speed rated sizes and a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with Y speed rated sizes of this model.

The tire promotes first-rate all weather traction. The silica compound, the multi-wave siping detail and the treads inner tread design featuring wide tread grooves and a high density siping details enhance the dry, wet and winter weather traction. They firmly grip the road surface in all weather, while the circumferential grooves actively prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the footprint. This combination ensures a safer driving experience all year.

The model is easily handled and controlled. The asymmetric tread designs two sides compliment each other to guarantee first-rate handling and controllability. The outer tread area increases the steering responsiveness, the driving stability and the cornering capability. The steering is quick and precise in its responsiveness and the tire is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. During cornering situations, the outer shoulder design provides additional biting edges for a safer performance. The tread designs inner area features wide tread grooves and a high density siping detail. They increase the accelerating power and shorten the braking distance significantly to ensure a more secure driving experience.

The multi-wave siping design of the Proxes 4 Plus also extends the tread life and lowers the road noise levels. The silica compound slows down the tread wear rate, while the sipe design evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tire surface. This lowers the possibility of even wear, providing an elongated tread life and tire usability. The equal force distribution manages to lower the road noise during the drive. The sipes channel the airwaves from the footprint and lower the road noise heard in the vehicles cabin while the tires are in motion.
